Google will soon unveil the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Although the company is very generous and has revealed first details about the new phones, not all information is known yet. That’s where other sources jump in. One of them causes a small disappointment.
Google Pixel 7 Pro still with a maximum of 256 GB memory
Google celebrates a great success with the Pixel 6 phones. Many fans are all the more eagerly waiting for the Pixel 7 series, which will be officially unveiled on October 6. New details that Google itself has not revealed yet have already been revealed. It is about the internal storage, which will only increase in one model compared to the predecessors:
- Pixel 7: 128 and 256 GB
- Pixel 7 Pro: 128 and 256 GB
Google will thus introduce a small upgrade in the Pixel 7. The Pixel 6 was only available with a maximum of 128 GB of internal storage. Those who would rather have the Pixel 7 Pro and need a lot of storage will be disappointed. The maximum of 256 GB, which was already available in the Pixel 6 Pro, is still the case (source: WinFuture). Samsung and Apple offer much more. They also offer versions with 512 GB and 1 TB of internal storage. This gives you a bit more freedom when you really need a lot of storage space. With the Pixel 7 Pro, you would have to use the cloud or clean up your smartphone regularly.

Pixel event in October
We will find out all the details about the new Pixel 7 phones on October 6 at the Pixel event at the latest. We already know the design, but exact information about the technical equipment and new software features is still missing. The 2nd generation Tensor chip could be really exciting. It could again enable some unique features that no other smartphone offers. Otherwise, the camera performance is not completely unimportant. In addition, the Pixel Watch will be Google’s first smartwatch.
